Summary
This study aims to understand the connection between gut health and heart surgery recovery. Researchers will measure specific chemicals from gut bacteria in the blood and heart tissue of 30 patients. Some patients will receive probiotic supplements after surgery to see if this changes these chemicals and improves health outcomes.
