NCT ID NCT07143084
First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at how nutritional status and frailty are connected in older adults (over 65) who stay in the intensive care unit for at least 48 hours. Researchers will use simple blood tests and frailty scores to see if poor nutrition before or during the hospital stay leads to worse outcomes. The goal is to help doctors create more personalized care plans for critically ill patients.
