Can a Protein-Packed drink fight Crohn's and rebuild muscle?

NCT ID NCT07171593

Summary

This study is testing whether a high-protein nutrition drink containing a supplement called HMB can help adults with active Crohn's disease who also have significant muscle loss (sarcopenia). Researchers want to see if this drink improves patients' handgrip strength and muscle mass while also helping control their Crohn's symptoms. The study will compare results between patients who receive the special drink and those who receive standard nutrition support.
