Summary
This study looked at whether a short series of nutrition classes could improve sports nutrition knowledge, eating habits, and body measurements in teenage female handball players. 97 athletes from four clubs took part, with some clubs getting the classes and others not. The classes covered energy needs, key nutrients, hydration, and healthy eating for sports. The goal was to see if teaching young athletes about food helps them make better choices.
