Summary
This study tested three flavors of a nutritional drink called Supportan® to see if it helps cancer patients maintain their weight and nutrition during treatment. 123 patients in Taiwan who were receiving cancer therapy and at risk of malnutrition drank two bottles daily for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in body weight, calorie intake, and inflammation markers to see if the drink was safe and effective.
