First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a training program for home care workers could help improve nutrition for people with dementia living at home. Researchers worked with families and care workers to adapt an existing nutrition program and see if it was practical and acceptable. The goal was to see if this approach could help prevent undernutrition and improve quality of life before planning a larger future trial.
