Could a simple blood test predict surgery risks?

NCT ID NCT05373836

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of over 3,200 adults who had brain tumor surgery. Researchers wanted to see if a score based on a patient's nutrition (from blood tests) could predict their risk of serious problems after surgery, like death or kidney injury. The goal is to find better ways to identify which patients might need extra care.
