First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at two ways to help adults with low income and heart-related health problems get more fruits and vegetables. One group got money added to a rewards account to buy produce, and the other got free produce boxes delivered to their home. The goal was to see which method worked better for increasing fruit and vegetable intake and reducing food insecurity.
