Can a new way of parenting calm ADHD?
NCT ID NCT03685279
Summary
This study tested whether a parenting method called the Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA) could help reduce symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity in young children with ADHD. Researchers worked with over 100 parents of children aged 6 to 8, teaching them specific skills and attitudes. Parents were randomly assigned to learn the method right away or to wait, allowing scientists to compare the results.
