NCT ID NCT07544381
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a nursing program designed to help patients relax during laser eye surgery for diabetes-related vision problems. 136 adults were split into two groups: one received standard care, and the other also got guided slow breathing, clear communication, and reassurance during the procedure. The goal was to see if this extra support could lower pain and stress. The results suggest that simple, caring actions can make a big difference in patient comfort during this common treatment.
