Can fake patients make better nurses? study tests new training method
NCT ID NCT07448168
Summary
This study compares two teaching methods for first-year nursing students. Researchers want to see if training with standardized patient actors improves students' assessment and diagnosis skills more than traditional classroom instruction. Sixty nursing students will be randomly assigned to either the simulation training group or the regular teaching group, and their skills will be measured before and after.
