Study tests which training simulator best prepares future nurses
NCT ID NCT07435233
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to teach nursing students how to perform tracheal aspiration, a procedure to clear a patient's airway. Researchers are comparing three different training tools: a high-tech simulator, a hybrid simulator, and a basic practice dummy. They will measure how well 102 first-year nursing students learn the skill and how confident they feel afterward.
