NCT ID NCT07304544
Summary
This study tested whether a special nursing program could help people who recently had colostomy surgery feel less anxious and depressed, and improve their quality of life. 115 adults who had the surgery within the past week received either the special program or standard care for 12 weeks. The program included one-on-one education, emotional support, family training, and follow-up calls to help patients adapt to life with a colostomy.
