First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special way for nurses to talk with patients during burn dressing changes can lower pain and anxiety. About 62 adults with second- or third-degree burns will take part. The nurse will use a structured communication model during three dressing sessions, focusing on trust, clear information, and emotional support. The goal is to see if this approach makes the procedure less painful and stressful compared to usual care.
