Can better nurse training stop infections after kidney stone surgery?
NCT ID NCT06437379
Summary
This study tested whether a special teaching program could improve nurses' knowledge and skills in preventing infections for patients undergoing a common kidney stone removal surgery (PCNL). It involved 30 nurses who care for these patients before, during, and after the procedure. The goal was to see if better training leads to safer practices and potentially shorter hospital stays.
