Can special training help nurses better care for dying cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07460570

Summary

This study tested whether a special training program could improve how cancer nurses care for patients nearing the end of life. Researchers in Oman trained one group of nurses and compared their skills and knowledge to another group who did not receive the training. The goal was to see if this culturally adapted education could better prepare nurses to provide comfort and support to dying patients and their families.
