First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested whether a nurse-led program, including verbal education and an animated video, could lower anxiety and improve care quality for 60 adults scheduled for coronary artery bypass surgery. Participants were split into two groups: one received the extra program, the other standard care. Researchers measured anxiety, stress hormones, and how patients rated their nursing care.
