First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested a special training program for oncology nurses in Oman to improve how they care for patients at the end of life. 189 nurses took part, with some receiving the training and others continuing their usual work. The program aimed to increase nurses' knowledge, improve their attitudes toward caring for dying patients, and enhance their communication skills. Results will show if this culturally adapted training helps nurses feel more prepared and confident in providing palliative care.
