Nurses take the lead in fight against HIV with new prevention strategy
NCT ID NCT07346508
Summary
This study aims to see if trained nurses working in local public health clinics can effectively provide a long-acting injection for HIV prevention. It will compare clinics where nurses follow a special protocol to start and manage this prevention method against clinics using their usual care practices. The goal is to find better ways to get this effective prevention tool to people in rural and underserved communities who currently have limited access.
