First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a nurse-led program of laptop-based lessons, phone reminders, and a booklet can help people on hemodialysis better follow their diet, fluid limits, and physical activity recommendations. About 112 adults who have been on dialysis for at least 3 months and have high fluid weight gains between sessions will take part. One group gets the nurse-led program, while the other gets usual care. The researchers will measure changes in weight gain, self-care habits, and quality of life over 6 months.
