Nurses take the lead on chest pain diagnosis in ER trial

Summary

This study tests whether specially trained nurses can safely diagnose and manage non-traumatic chest pain in the emergency department. About 182 adults with chest pain will be randomly assigned to either nurse-led or standard doctor-led care. The goal is to see if nurse-led care meets medical guidelines and speeds up treatment.
