Could a Nurse's call keep you out of the ER?
NCT ID NCT07405073
Summary
This study looked at whether follow-up appointments with a specialized nurse could help patients avoid returning to the emergency department soon after their first visit. Researchers analyzed the records of 328 patients who came back to the ER within 15 days to understand why they returned. The goal was to see if better follow-up care could ease overcrowding and improve patient health.
