First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether advanced practice nurses (APNs) could help people with high blood pressure get it under control. 483 adults with hypertension received either usual care or extra visits with an APN. The goal was to see if more patients could reach a healthy blood pressure level. Results suggest that adding APN support may improve blood pressure control and patient adherence.
