Can nurse visits break the cycle for struggling moms?
NCT ID NCT05887115
Summary
This study tested whether a Nurse Family Partnership program could improve health for pregnant women who already had at least one child and were facing significant life challenges. It aimed to see if regular nurse home visits during pregnancy and after birth could lead to healthier pregnancies, better child development, and a more stable home environment. The trial was terminated early and only enrolled 23 participants, far fewer than planned.
