Can a Nurse's call help you quit smoking for good?
NCT ID NCT05577767
Summary
This study is testing whether regular follow-up calls from a nurse help people who smoke quit, especially if they are being screened for COPD, a serious lung disease. It involves 233 French patients who will receive check-in calls at 3, 6, and 12 months. The main goal is to see if this support reduces daily cigarette use, which is the most important step to slow down COPD.
