Can better nurse chat keep patients from coming back to the hospital?
NCT ID NCT07136350
Summary
This study aims to understand if training nurses in caring communication and using a special discharge tool can improve the patient experience and reduce how often patients need to return to the hospital. It will involve 140 adult patients and their nurses at a Florida hospital system. Researchers will measure patient satisfaction, nurses' communication skills, and track 30-day readmission rates to see if the training makes a difference.
