First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at whether training nurses to communicate with more caring and empathy can improve patient satisfaction and lower the chance of patients returning to the hospital within 30 days. About 140 adult patients and their nurses at Baptist Health South Florida will take part. Researchers will measure how patients perceive nurse caring and track readmission rates before and after the coaching.
