New hope for hemophilia surgery: can nuwiq safely stop bleeds during operations?

Summary
This study tests whether a clotting factor called Nuwiq can safely prevent bleeding during major surgery in people with severe hemophilia A who are already taking another drug (emicizumab) to prevent bleeds. About 28 male patients aged 12 and older will receive Nuwiq around the time of their scheduled surgery. The main goal is to see if the treatment successfully controls bleeding during and after the operation.
