Summary
This study is testing if a numbing medication injected near a major leg artery can reverse high blood pressure caused by a surgical tourniquet. The tourniquet is used to reduce bleeding during ankle replacement or fusion surgery but often raises blood pressure. Researchers want to see if this injection can safely bring blood pressure back to normal levels during the operation.
