NCT ID NCT07475208
First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking a daily supplement called nicotinamide riboside (a form of vitamin B3) combined with a brisk walking program can lower blood pressure in post-menopausal women with mildly high blood pressure. About 112 women will be randomly assigned to receive the supplement, a walking program, both, or a placebo for 10 weeks. The goal is to find a safe, non-drug way to improve heart health in this group.
