New eye drop trial aims to slow diabetic eye damage
NCT ID NCT07198815
Summary
This very early study will test NPDR-01 eye drops in 10 people with non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy, a common diabetes-related eye condition. The goal is to see if the drops can reduce tiny, leaky blood vessels in the retina (microaneurysms) and slow the disease's progression. Researchers will also closely monitor the safety of the eye drops for any side effects.
