New scan tested to personalize cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT06982300
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan to see if it can help doctors select the best treatment for patients with a specific type of head and neck cancer (nasopharyngeal carcinoma). Researchers will give the scan to 10 patients before and after starting chemotherapy or radiation to see if the scan provides useful information. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to more personalized treatment plans in the future.
