New spinal fusion putty aims to end chronic back pain

Summary
This study is testing a new bone graft material called Novosis Putty, which is used during spinal fusion surgery. The goal is to see if it helps bones fuse together better and reduces pain and disability for people with severe degenerative disc disease in their lower back. Researchers will compare the new putty to the current standard treatment in 316 patients across multiple hospitals.
