New clues to artery disease risk in guadeloupe

NCT ID NCT07233356

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This completed study looked for new risk factors that might lead to peripheral arterial disease (PAD), especially in the lower leg arteries. Researchers studied 123 adults in Guadeloupe, measuring things like HbA1c (a blood sugar marker) and other novel factors. The goal was to better understand why this group has more severe PAD, not to test a treatment.
