Pinhole contact lens aims to sharpen blurry vision

NCT ID NCT07559188

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new contact lens that has a tiny opening in the center, like a pinhole, to help people with presbyopia (age-related blurry near vision) or keratoconus (a cone-shaped cornea). Sixteen adults will try the lens for one session to see if it improves vision quality and reduces glare. The goal is to see if this design works better than a standard contact lens.
