New knife could make esophageal polyp removal safer and faster

Summary
This study tests a new type of knife that uses bipolar radiofrequency energy to remove precancerous growths from the esophagus. About 50 adults will have the procedure at two expert centers. The goal is to see if the new knife works well, speeds up the surgery, and reduces injury to the muscle layer.
