Genetic vaccine shows promise against Hard-to-Treat cancers

Summary
This study tests a new genetic vaccine called Nous-209, given together with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab, in adults with advanced colorectal, stomach, or gastro-esophageal junction cancers that have a specific genetic feature (MSI-H or dMMR). The vaccine aims to train the immune system to attack cancer cells. The trial has two phases: the first checks safety and the best dose, and the second looks at how well the combination shrinks tumors. About 115 people are taking part.
