Which nostril is safer? new study investigates nosebleed risk during intubation

Summary

This study aims to find out if choosing the left or right nostril for inserting a breathing tube affects the chance of a nosebleed. About 208 adults having planned surgery will take part. Doctors will compare nosebleed rates between the two nostrils to see if one side is safer.
