Which nostril causes more bleeding during surgery?
NCT ID NCT06605989
Summary
This study aims to find out if inserting a breathing tube through the left or right nostril causes more nosebleeds during surgery. Researchers will randomly assign 208 adult patients having elective surgery to have their tube placed through one nostril or the other. After the procedure, they will use a small camera to check for and measure any bleeding to see if one side is better than the other.
