This study checked whether 3D-printed nasal swabs work as well as standard swabs for diagnosing COVID-19. About 1,179 people who had COVID-19 symptoms or were recently exposed took part. Researchers compared the new swabs' accuracy and safety, like nosebleed risk, to the usual ones.
