First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests two experimental mRNA vaccines (mRNA-1403 and mRNA-1405) to prevent norovirus, a highly contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea. About 1,400 healthy adults aged 18 to 80 will receive either a vaccine or a placebo to check safety and how well the vaccines trigger an immune response. The goal is to find a dose that protects against multiple norovirus strains.
