First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study aims to find normal lung stretch values in 81 healthy volunteers using a new ultrasound technique. By measuring how different parts of the lung move during breathing, researchers hope to create a baseline that could one day help doctors adjust ventilators to avoid lung injury. Participants are healthy adults with no lung disease or smoking history.
