Landmark study seeks to map blood clotting in premature babies
NCT ID NCT07349251
Summary
This study aims to establish what normal blood clotting values are for premature infants. Researchers will look back at medical records from up to 1,000 babies born before 37 weeks to measure clotting factors from birth until they start walking. The goal is to see if these values differ from those of full-term infants, which could help doctors better care for preemies.
