Sock science: can grippy socks speed up recovery for seniors?
NCT ID NCT04882696
Summary
This small pilot study aimed to see if wearing non-slip socks helps elderly hospital patients improve their walking speed during physical therapy. Researchers wanted to gather solid evidence on whether these simple socks could aid motor recovery and help patients return home sooner. The study was terminated early after enrolling only one participant.
