First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-opioid pain medicine called suzetrigine can reduce the need for opioid painkillers after total knee replacement. About 210 adults having knee surgery will take either suzetrigine or a placebo for 14 days after their operation. Researchers will track how much opioid medicine they use, their pain levels, and how well they recover.
