New test could replace painful bone marrow biopsies for blood cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07419178
Summary
This study is testing new, less invasive ways to track scarring (fibrosis) in the bone marrow of people with myelofibrosis, a serious blood disorder. Researchers want to see if a simple blood test or a special PET scan can accurately measure this scarring, which currently requires a painful bone marrow biopsy. The goal is to help doctors diagnose and monitor the disease more easily and comfortably for patients.
