First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study will test a new, non-invasive forehead thermometer (Temple Touch Pro) in 20 children in the pediatric intensive care unit who need their body temperature carefully controlled. The goal is to see if this simple skin sensor can accurately replace the standard internal probes placed in the bladder, rectum, or esophagus. If successful, it could make temperature monitoring more comfortable for critically ill children.
