Summary
This study involves 60 adults with normal pressure hydrocephalus who have a shunt to drain fluid from the brain. Researchers want to see if MRI scans and blood tests can detect when the shunt becomes blocked, avoiding the need for invasive checks. Participants will be randomly assigned to have their shunt temporarily turned off for 5-7 days or to continue as usual, and all will have MRI scans and symptom assessments.
