First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study is testing a non-invasive postural therapy program for older veterans with lumbar spinal stenosis, a condition that causes back and leg pain when walking or standing. The program includes using a modified rolling walker and changing sleep positions to relieve symptoms. Twenty veterans will try the program for 6 weeks, and researchers will measure changes in mobility and interview participants to identify any barriers to using the therapy.
