First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive headband device, originally approved for migraines, can help reduce seizures in veterans with drug-resistant epilepsy. 24 veterans will receive either standard care alone or standard care plus the device, then switch groups. The goal is to see if the device safely lowers seizure frequency and improves quality of life over 12 months.
